MOUGINS MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ARTMougins is the home of The Museum of Contemporary Art, one of the best museums in the region. You can expect to see Roman, Greek and Egyptian sculpture, vases, coins, and jewellery, and also the world’s largest private collection of ancient arms and armour.It also houses classically inspired paintings, drawings, and sculptures by Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, Dufy, Cézanne, Rodin, Dali, Andy Warhol, Marc Quinn, Antony Gormley, and Damien Hirst.
EGLISE NOTRE-DAME-DE-VIE Mougin is where Picasso decided to spend the last years of his life, and his final resting place. The Notre-Dame-de-Vie is no Notre Dame-de-Paris however much understated and is close to Picasso's home. The 13th century bell tower could be seen from the artist’s bedroom still stands, and is visited daily by people from all over the world.
