Saturday morning at Lavaur's farmers market

One of the real pleasures of holidaying in the South of France, is undoubtedly the local farmers markets that swoop into the middle of beautiful historic village centres. Our favourite is the outdoor market of Lavaur. This is where you will really get a glimpse of the local life and get to try the best specialities. Here are a few photos from our last visit.

Situated on the boulevards that surround the old city under the cool shade of sycamores, this market takes place every Wednesday and Saturday. Wednesday's small market is reserved to local producers only, whereas Saturday's one is open to everyone.
